Photographers Multipurpose Organization, Chandrapur – A Journey from Unity to the Digital Age

The foundation of the Photographers Multipurpose Organization was laid in 2014. Nitin Raipure and Phulchand Meshram worked tirelessly to organize the photography community. At that time, many did not understand how important the need for an organization was for photographers. But during the Corona crisis, everyone experienced the true power of staying together and supporting each other.

Many photographers needed help and the organization promptly took the initiative to lend a helping hand. It was because of the unity of that time that people started flocking to the organization. Gradually, the scope of the organization expanded to the entire Chandrapur district. Invitations for meetings started coming from every taluka and the photography community was unitedly connected with this organization.

The organization implemented various activities for the progress of its members. Insurance coverage to every member, distribution of calendars and annual diaries, workshops by excellent trainers, all these activities were inspired by the noble purpose of ‘Shikal Tar Tikal’. Apart from this, the unity of the organization was further strengthened by organizing cricket tournaments to bring photographers together not only in business but also through sports.

As a result of all these activities, today the Photographers Multipurpose Organization Chandrapur has created a unique position at the Maharashtra level. Today, the organization has a total of 638 members registered, which is a matter of pride.

Initially, the organization was available only in human form, but according to the changing needs of the times, we are now registering our presence completely in digital form. We are sure that the organization will continue to function more effectively through online means.

Therefore, it is our sincere request that everyone in the photography community should actively participate in this digital journey and strengthen the organization.
